Pack 1576 Hajj Simulation and Potluck Event

Cub Scouts

As part of duty to God and to keep in line with the Hijri Calendar, the Cub Scouts  will be performing a simulation a simulated Hajj at our Monthly Pack Meeting, 22 November 2009.

  • All Cub Scouts should wear Ihram on top of their Unifrom.
  • Please be sure to arrive by 6:00 PM.  It is important that you arrive promptly so that we are able to start the actual Hajj simulation on time and complete the program before Salat ul-Isha, inshaAllah.

The food will be placed in one corner of the main hall.  We will eat after we complete Salat ul-Isha and the Hajj.

Here is the agenda for the actual Hajj simulation:

  • Everyone assembles in Ihram in the main hall.
  • An introduction will be given promptly at 6:30 PM.
  • Tawaf will begin inshaAllah with the Tigers starting the circuit of the stations, followed by the Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Girl Scouts.
  • A leader and/or parent will stay with each station while the other leader of the den will go with the Scouts from station to station for crowd control purposes..
    • The leader will lead the Scouts in learning the story/importance of each station, reciting dua, and performing the actions of the assigned station.
    • Jamaarat - Tiger Leader
    • Hills of As-Safa and Al-Marwa - Wolves
    • Sacrifice of the animal - Bears
    • Kabah - Webelos
