Taking Training at MyScouting.org

Online training for Boy Scouts of America is now easier than ever. All you need is an email address and a web browser that is flash enabled. You can download flash from Adobe's website. If you are a registered Scout or Scouter (leader) than you should also provider your member id. If you don't have it, you can still take the training, but it will not be trackable by BSA which is a requirement for Charter Renewal.
Please proceed using the instructions below.
Go to http://myscouting.org. This is an alias that will take you to myscouting.scouting.org. If you already have a profile, login, otherwise, register.![]() |
After you hae registered and logged-in, click on the E-Learning link.![]() |
Select the course you want to take. We require that ALL parents who attend overnight events and ALL SCOUT LEADERS take a minimum of Youth Protection Training and Youth Protection Quiz.![]() |
Once you have completed your desired course, print or save electronically your certificate. We recommend to save your certificate as a PDF. Macintosh computers have this as a standard option in their print window. Window computers can do this if they have Acrobat Standard or Professional, or some other PDF Writer such as CutePDF, PrimoPDF, or PDFill.![]() |
