This program is for boys who have completed third grade (or are age 10). A boy may begin working on the Webelos badge as soon as he joins a Webelos den. This is the first step in his transition from the Webelos den to the Boy Scout troop. As he completes the requirements found in the Webelos Handbook, he will work on activity badges, attend meetings led by adults, and become familiar with the Boy Scout requirements—all leading to the Arrow of Light Award.

Goshen is the National Capital Area Council's long-term resident summer camp located on 4,500+ acres in the mountains of southwestern Virginia. There are six separate camps located along the shores of 450-acre Lake Merriweather. There are 3 Boy Scout Camps, each with its own unique features; two Webelos Camps that share a common theme each summer and host hundreds of boys and parents each week; and a High Adventure Base from which our Lenhok'sin program is run.
